Overview

Set on 650 acres of lush green fairways, rolling hills and gentle streams, Millbrook Resort is an internationally acclaimed, luxury lifestyle resort, and we are proud to be an employer of choice within New Zealand.

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in supporting food preparation, maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and consistently upholding food safety and hygiene requirements.

The Role

We have four luxury restaurants and a dedicated functions kitchen at Millbrook Resort, and this role plays a vital part in keeping each kitchen running seamlessly. As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll be at the heart of our team, supporting daily operations and contributing to a collaborative and positive kitchen environment. We pride ourselves on delivering a tailored five-star dining experience across all our venues, from the energy of a fast-paced breakfast service to the creativity of innovative cuisine in our premium restaurants. Creating memorable experiences for our guests starts behind the scenes, and this role is essential in making that happen.

Success Profile

Previous experience preferred, however, not necessary as training will be provided.
Great eye for detail and exceptional time management skills.
Good verbal communication, coupled with a “can do” attitude.
Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual handling.
Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach.
Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
Drivers Licence is preferable, owing to Arrowtown location and shift patterns – you must be able to make your own way to and from work.
Self-motivated to work independently, as well as a great team player.

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown.

Hours: Full time and Part time options available, for a fixed term period of two months.

Pay banding: $26.00 - $27.00 gross per hour
